Today's project is another SUPER SIMPLE one! I decided to make some small Christmas card that can either be given out individually, or as a set to someone special. These are 4X4 cards. I used the Lily Bee Design "Jingle" 6x6 paper stack along with PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock. And My Creative Time's "Whimsical Calendar Days" and the XL Label die. The ink I used was PTI Pure Poppy and Stampin' Up Old Olive!

I just LOVE this stamp set! It can be customized to work with ANY date at all!

MCT 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS ~ DAY 2

Hello there again! And WELCOME to day TWO of the My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! If you've arrived here from Cindy's blog, then you are headed in the right direction! If not, please start at Emma's blog HERE!

***12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIVE AWAY ALERT***

Yep, Emma released her 1st set of stamps one year ago! So make sure you are tuned in because this is ONE hop you do NOT want to miss!

Now...onto my project!

For my project today, I decided to use that FABULOUS My Creative Time "Lollipop holder" die! This is my first time using it (shocking I know!). I LOVE the way the MCT dies cut. They are PERFECT! My youngest son is 9, so I figure that he is still young enough to take some Christmas goodies to school before the Christmas break. So I went with some little treats for his classmates!

The paper I used is from an older DCWV Christmas Combo Glitter stack. DCWV is a little bit thicker, and I wanted these to be a bit sturdier. You know how kids are. ;) I used the My Creative Time "All Around Christmas" stamp set. I stamped the sentiments and images with Memento because I wanted to color the images with my Copics. Memento is the best ink I have found that does not run when using Copics. I finished the treats off a little bit of tulle.

It is super simple to use these dies and coordinating stamps. So if you're looking for a quick project, they are PERFECT!

Now...onto my project!!

If you're anything like me, at the last minute I always think of gifts that I need to purchase for someone. And by this time, I've run out of tags to put on them! So for my first project I decided to make some gift tags!

I used the Elegant Edges cartridge for the shape of the tags and created the second layer with my Gypsy. The present came from the Smiley Card Gypsy cartridge. I used PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock and some new papers from the Fancy pants Designs "Saint Nick" paper stack. It was also my first project using those new Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I used Festive Berries and Iced Spruce!

The "No Peeking" stamp is from the My Creative Time "All Around Christmas" set and on the back I used the "Gift Card Sentiments" set for the to and from.
