No Lion, You're the Best!

Hello! I'm back to day with another Valentine's Day themed card I created for a Valentine Challenge over at Jaded Blossom!
You can find all the details HERE.

For today's project, I used the SVG Cutting Files Side Cut Card - Zig Zag as my card base. I did modify it just a bit in Silhouette Studio, so the Zig-Zag is actually on the front of my card. I used the offset feature and finally the knife tool to get the additional top layer.
The lion is from the SVG Cutting Files Lion Heart Mane file.
I used the Jaded Blossom Fall Dies for my little wooden sign, and the Go Wild stamp set for the perfect sentiment! I absolutely LOVE how Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files coordinate so perfectly together. :) And of course to make it into a Valentine card, I used the Simple Sayings Valentine Edition for the inside of my card!

PaperTrey Red cardstock
Pebbles Be Mine 6x6 paper stack

I get a kick out of you!

Good morning! Today I am sharing a card I made for a Valentine Swap for SVG Cutting Files

All of my cut files are from SVG Cutting Files. I used the Bracket Label Card Base for my card. (I created additional layers by using the offset feature.) And the SUPER cute little ninja is from the Ninja Valentines set.
Isn't he just the cutest!

Of course, Jaded Blossom had the perfect sentiment in the Pugs & Kisses stamp set!
I also used the Jaded Blossom Simple Sayings Valentine Edition stamp set to stamp the inside of my card.
That's all for today, but I'll be sharing a couple more Valentine projects this coming week so stay tuned! (Oh...and I hope my card swapper just LOVES her card!) Happy Valentine's Day!

Gatlin's Journey :: You're dog-gone awesome!!

Good Morning!!

So while scrolling through Facebook a while back I came across a little boy named Gatlin. In November, on his way to school, he was involved in a tragic accident. The accident claimed the life of this young father.
You can read all about his family's story HERE.
The family also has a GoFundMe page set up which you can find HERE.

While reading through one of the updates his mom had posted, I read the he had been given a puppy from Build-A-Bear to help him through his lengthy recovery. They named the puppy JL.

I've been following his story for the past couple of months and decided I wanted to send this brave little boy a card with a puppy to match his JL. I'm sending a ton of cyber prayers his way that he continues to recover and can get back home to his family!
I created the card base and layers in Silhouette Studio. The adorable little puppy is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Super Dog cut file. I did add a little black patch to one of his eyes. :)
The sentiment and little paw prints come from the Jaded Blossom Dog-Gone Awesome stamp set.
Gatlin should be receiving his card any day now and I hope it cheers him up just a little! I even believe he is doing well enough to be released home this weekend! I'll continue to pray for this sweet family!

Happy New Year!!

Hello 2017!!

I just wanted to jump on here and share a quick little New Year's project before the day is over!

I tried to get something made up prior to today, but as you all know, it gets super busy this time of year! So I decided to take advantage of the afternoon while my little one was napping.

I used My Creative Time stamps and dies to create this super cute shaker card!
I used the My Creative Time MORE Stitched Circle Dies to create the shaker part. I built up the frame by adhering around 8 layers together. I used the My Creative Time Number Fun Dies & Add Ons to make the 2017. After adhering half of the layers together, I used some clear string to hang the letters in the middle of my shaker part.

So, not only do all my pretty sequins and beads shake...but so does the 2017!

Supplies:
Papertrey Ink White card stock
Bazill Black cardstock
Amy Tangerine Stitched 6x6 paper stack
My Creative Time MORE Stitched Circle Dies

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year!

Merry Everything!!

Merry Christmas crafty friends!

I was able to sneak off into my craft room again this week, and decided I needed to make one more Christmas project this year. So I've just got a quick shaker card to share with you!
This jolly little Santa is from the My Favorite Things BB Jingle All The Way. I colored him with various Copic markers.

The shaker frame was created with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Square Scallop Frames. To make the shaker, I cut the frame with my Big Shot 7-8 times and then stacked all of the fames together. I find that this gives the shaker material lots of room to move around.
(And don't mind the sequin that is stuck to poor Santa's head...I couldn't get it to move, so he's stuck with it there!)

I used the My Favorite Things Die-namics Basic Stitch Lines on my patterned background paper. And finally my sentiment is from the BB Jingle All The Way stamp set.

Echo Park I Love Christmas 6x6 paper stack

Jaded Blossom Guest Designer :: there's snow buddy like you

Hi there crafty strangers! I know it's been forever since I last posted anything. Nearly a year!

But today I am honored to be a guest designer for Jaded Blossom! I still absolutely LOVE my Jaded Blossom stamps and dies, and have continued to grow my collection even though I've been on a hiatus!

Anyhoo...Candace and Michelle from Jaded Blossom are hosting guest designers all month long on their blog, and today is MY day! So what are you waiting for, let's get to it!

For my project, I created some super cute little goody bags. One of the things I love about Jaded Blossom is that you can create tons of projects with their stamps and dies. And like today...you don't even need to turn on a computer or cutting machine.
For my treats today, I decided to use the Jaded Blossom Goody Bag Dies. This treat bag is the perfect little size for just about anything!

Aren't these little snowmen just the cutest!
The snowmen are from the Jaded Blossom Snowman Dies and their cute little faces are from the Jaded Blossom Snowman Faces (Add On) stamp set. The die set includes everything you need for these little snowman...plus a few other options as well!
For my sentiment tag, I used the Jaded Blossom Flag Dies 2 to create a flag for my candy canes. In order to have the flag wrap all the way around, I just placed the cutting plates at different ends of the dies on my Big Shot to make the flag longer. The sentiment is from the White Christmas stamp set.
And of course, I had to add some glitter! Well, not the messy kind...but easy to clean up glitter paper! I used my Big Shot to cut dies from the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies set for the snow at the top and my snowflakes.

That's it from me for today. I hope you enjoyed my guest designer project!

Don't forget to check out the rest of the designers this month on the Jaded Blossom blog. And remember, head on over to the Jaded Blossom store to check out all of the stamp and dies they offer.

Jaded Blossom Guest Designer :: Merry Christmas!!

Good Morning!!
Today I'm honored to be a guest designer for Jaded Blossom!

I want to give a special thanks to Candace and Michelle for such a fun opportunity!

Now...I know Christmas is over, but I just have to share this super cute little Christmas treat bag! Luckily for all of us crafters, all the Jaded Blossom stamps and dies go together perfectly!

I started with the Jaded Blossom Goody Bag Die and some PaperTrey Ink card stock to make sure my bag was nice and sturdy.
The little Polar Bear Ice Cap is from SVG Cutting Files. Isn't he just the cutest! I used one of the tags from the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 set for my sentiment. And the "Merry Christmas" comes from the Jaded Blossom Merry and Bright stamp set. I love how quick and simple using this die set is. And it's soo super cute, that you don't really have to add anything to it!
