Leapin' Lizards!

If you're looking for my BIG GIVEAWAY post, click HERE!

Hello again! Today, I've decided to share a birthday card! September is always busy with my kiddos starting school, our anniversary, and several other special occasions, not to mention some birthdays! So since I had some time this past weekend, I decided to get a head start on the birthday cards!

I found this super cute Leaping Lizards cut file over at Lettering Delights. He was PERFECT for this sentiment that I just knew I had. But...could I find it? NO! I knew it was a stamp from Pink By Design, but I'll be darned if I could remember which set. So I looked through pretty much the entire PBD stamp collection. (Yes, I might have a problem. And yes, I may need a 12 step program. Bahaha.)

So after the first two times through my stamps, I didn't see it and I was getting slightly frustrated.  I felt like calling up Sarah personally and ask her, but it was WAY to late to do that. ;) You can thank me later Sarah! But third times a charm!

It's on the Oh Boy! stamp set. And now...I won't ever forget that!
I used some white PaperTrey Ink cardstock for the card base, the pattern paper is from the Echo Park Happy Days 6x6 paper stack. All of the other paper is mostly Core'dinations scraps from my stash. Other than the black Papertrey Ink .
This background layer is also from the Leaping Lizards cut files. I added an external offset to the shape to create a black shadow layer.
I embossed the sentiment with some of the Stampin' Up white embossing powder and the Versamark Dazzle pad.

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to head back on over tomorrow for another new project!
