For my project, I decided to go with this super cute little kitty from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birthday Critters cutting files.

For the base of the card, I welded two circles together, and then used the offset feature to create some additional layers. 

I added a sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set and some Neat and Tangled Sequins.
