Have a Hoppy Day!

Hi bloggers! Today I'm sharing a challenge project! I created this sweet little bunny treat to enter in the challenges over at SVG Cutting Files and Jaded Blossom. :)
I used a couple of different files to create my project. The base is from the Kawaii Sea Nugget Platform. The cute little bunny is from the Easter Peek Out Slider Set. I just modified the size of the grass and bunny in order for them to fit onto the nugget base.
The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Easter Treats 2 stamp set.
 Supplies:
Stampin' Up Crumb Cake cardstock
Echo Park Splendid Sunshine 6x6 paper stack
SVG Cutting Files Kawaii Sea Nugget Platform

There's still a little bit of time to enter a project for the SVG Cutting Files challenge. You can check out all the details HERE.

The Jaded Blossom challenge goes until April 4, 2015. You can check out all the details on that challenge, HERE.

Happy Birthday!

Good morning!

January is full of birthdays and I have yet another birthday card to share today!
This adorable clown is from the Cute Little Circus file by Too Cute by Jessica. I decided to hide the face cuts so I could stamp one of these super cute little Peachy Keen Stamps faces on it instead. Then I used Copic markers to color it in. This has got to be one of the cutest little clowns ever! :)

Another Happy Birthday!!

Good morning! Who's up for another birthday card?! Today is my mom's birthday!

Happy Birthday Mom!
I hope your day is wonderful!
For the birthday card today, I wanted to add a little dimension with a simple frame. I created a 4.25 x 4.25 square card within Silhouette Studio and used the Peachy Keen SVG outline for the size of the chef in order to know how big to make the frame.
I cut the frame out 4 times (3 times out of plain white card stock and once out of a white patterned card stock) and just glued them together. Easy Peasy!

The chef is from the January 2014 Stamp of the Month. I stamped both him and the cupcake on X-press It Blending Paper and colored in his face with Copic Markers. I wanted to paper piece the rest of the outfit and the cupcake. So I picked out some misc card stock and added some shadows with more Copic Markers. I added a birthday sentiment from Jaded Blossom's So Many Birthdays stamp set and my little heart on top is covered with some glossy accents!
Supplies:
Neenah Solar White card stock
Carta Bella It's a Celebration 6x6 paper stack
Echo Park Head Over Heels 6x6 paper stack
Echo Park We Are Family 6x6 paper stack

Happy Birthday Braxton!!

Good morning bloggers! Today is my nephew Braxton's 4th birthday!

Happy Birthday Braxton!!

Braxton is a fan of Bumble the Yeti. And of course since he has a winter birthday, I figured I could totally pull off a winter themed birthday card. :)
Today's card is another shaker card. I used the Lawn Fawn Large and Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables to create a frame to hold my sequins. I popped it up on two pieces of foam tape to give it enough room to shake. :) For the background, I used a new technique (for me) using a stencil and some embossing paste to create the snowfall.
The Bumble Yeti is from Paper Piecings by Nikki. The snow banks were cut from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders. The sequins are a mixture of both Neat & Tanged and Pretty Pink Posh, and my sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom So Many Birthdays stamp set.
 Supplies:
Neenah Soloar White cardstock
Doodlebug Designs Frosty Friends
Studio Calico acetate
Jaded Blossom So Many Birthdays
Simon Says Stamps Falling Snow stencil
Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste

You're Engaged!

Good morning! Today I have a special card to share. A good crafty friend of mine got engaged over the Christmas holiday. And of course, that's something to celebrate!

Congrats Ronda and Jon! :)
For the engagement card I used the Love Always kit from SVG Cuts. I'm glad they included an engagement type file in one of their kits...because it was exactly what I was looking for.
The card is sized to the standard A2 size. I modified it to create a couple extra layers for both the front and inside of the card. I really wanted to use glitter paper for the ring, but it is usually pretty difficult to adhere to other layers. I used TomBow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue and it seemed to work okay. There were a few pieces that gave me a little trouble but I finally got them with a bit of extra glue.
I adhered some vellum to the front of the card with some Ranger Multi Medium Matte. Love how you can hardly tell I used it. :)
I stamped the sentiment on the inside using the Jaded Blossom The Perfect Match stamp set and added some glitter enamel stickers to finish it off.

Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink white card stock
Bo Bunny Head Over Heels 6x6 paper stack
DCWV Foil Stack 6x6 paper stack
DCWV Twinkle Glints 6x6 paper stack
The Paper Studio Vellum
Fancy Pants Designs Memories Captured
Carta Bella Moments & Memories
Jaded Blossom The Perfect Match
SVG Cuts Love Always
Doodlebug Sprinkles

Wishing You Christmas Cheer!

And I'm back with ANOTHER Christmas project! For this one, I wanted to try a shaker card. I've seen them all over lately and I have yet to try it.

It seems like it'd be something I could take on for the challenge over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons this month!

And...here it is!
I LOVE how it turned out! The card is a standard A2 sized card. To make the shaker window, I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Photo Frames 1 Cutting File. (I did change the size of the opening a little bit within Silhouette Studio to create the size I needed.) I added some clear acetate to the opening and popped it up on some foam tape.
Inside my window I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birch Tree Trunks Cutting File. I was a little hesitant at first, because for as small as I needed them (and the fact I hadn't used my Cameo in over 5 months) I didn't know if they would cut very well. Well, look how great the Cameo did! For the sentiment and snow flakes, I used the Pretty Cute Stamps Christmas Cheer stamp set. :)

This adorable little snowman is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sweet Snowman Cutting File. I used Silhouette Studio to hide his face so I could add a little peachy face to him!
I added some different colored sequins from Neat & Tangled and sealed it all up!
 Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink white card stock
Doodlebug Designs Frosty Friends 6x6 paper stack
Clear Acetate
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Photo Frames 1
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birch Tree Trunks

And again, enjoy your Christmas Day!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas!

Good morning...and Merry Christmas!

It seems like forever ago since I posted any type of project on my blog! But this past week, while on vacation, I actually had a chance to make something. :)
For this card I used the SVG Cutting Files Bracket Label Card Base and created it at the standard A2 size.
And that adorable little Santa Claus? He's also from SVG Cutting files, from the Merry Merry file. I love his "vintage" type look!

For my Sentiment, I used the Jaded Blossom Christmas Wishes stamp set. The banner is simply hand cut. To finish off the card I used some super cute enamel dots!
 Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink kraft cardstock
Stampin' Up Pool Party card stock
Bazzill White (orange peel texture) carstock
Doodlebug Designs Santa Express 6x6 paper stack
Doodlebug Designs Christmas Sprinkles

Good Morning!

For today's hop, we are using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to create projects with a YUMMY theme!

I decided to use this adorable little mouse from the Birthday Critters cut files holding this super yummy cupcake!
I used a file from the Layered Labels 3 cutting files to create the base for my card. In order to create the flat top of my card, after I welded the two pieces together I released the compound path and deleted the extra circles. I did modify the cupcake to make it smaller. This way it fits on my standard sized card. And of course, Jaded Blossom has the perfect sentiment on the Hey Cupcake stamp set!
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock
Doodlebug Designs Sugar Shoppe 6x6 paper stack
Neenah Solar White cardstock
Misc Stampin' Up cardstock

It's A Boy!!

Good morning! I've got some fun news to share with you this morning.
Our 1st grandson James Anton (Jr) was born yesterday!
He is so super cute, and I am so proud of his mommy and daddy as first time parents.
They will be great!
He was 6 days early, so I didn't even think to have this post done, but better late than never, right?

I used the Tiny Miracle SVG kit from SVG Cuts to create this super cute diaper castle for his big arrival!
I just LOVE how it turned out! I did modify the size a little bit because I used smaller diapers, but I still think it looks great!
I used the Simple Stories Hello Baby Collection for all the paper and embellishments.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
