You're Engaged!

Good morning! Today I have a special card to share. A good crafty friend of mine got engaged over the Christmas holiday. And of course, that's something to celebrate!

Congrats Ronda and Jon! :)
For the engagement card I used the Love Always kit from SVG Cuts. I'm glad they included an engagement type file in one of their kits...because it was exactly what I was looking for.
The card is sized to the standard A2 size. I modified it to create a couple extra layers for both the front and inside of the card. I really wanted to use glitter paper for the ring, but it is usually pretty difficult to adhere to other layers. I used TomBow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue and it seemed to work okay. There were a few pieces that gave me a little trouble but I finally got them with a bit of extra glue.
I adhered some vellum to the front of the card with some Ranger Multi Medium Matte. Love how you can hardly tell I used it. :)
I stamped the sentiment on the inside using the Jaded Blossom The Perfect Match stamp set and added some glitter enamel stickers to finish it off.

Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink white card stock
Bo Bunny Head Over Heels 6x6 paper stack
DCWV Foil Stack 6x6 paper stack
DCWV Twinkle Glints 6x6 paper stack
The Paper Studio Vellum
Fancy Pants Designs Memories Captured
Carta Bella Moments & Memories
Jaded Blossom The Perfect Match
SVG Cuts Love Always
Doodlebug Sprinkles

Oh, and if you've noticed my new watermark today, head on over and check out Simply Claudia Designs on Facebook. I absolutely LOVE the simplicity of her handwritten logos and watermarks!

Have a fabulous day!

It's A Boy!!

Good morning! I've got some fun news to share with you this morning.
Our 1st grandson James Anton (Jr) was born yesterday!
He is so super cute, and I am so proud of his mommy and daddy as first time parents.
They will be great!
He was 6 days early, so I didn't even think to have this post done, but better late than never, right?

I used the Tiny Miracle SVG kit from SVG Cuts to create this super cute diaper castle for his big arrival!
I just LOVE how it turned out! I did modify the size a little bit because I used smaller diapers, but I still think it looks great!
I used the Simple Stories Hello Baby Collection for all the paper and embellishments.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Jaded Blossom :: November Challenge

Good morning and welcome to the Jaded Blossom monthly challenge!

This month's challenge is "Thanksgiving!"

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp somewhere on it
3) Link it up on the Jaded Blossom blog here by November 23rd at 11:59 pm PST

And the prize?!
This month's prize for a randomly selected winner is:
And now onto my Thanksgiving themed project!

I found this Fall Harvest file over at SVG Cuts and thought it would be perfect to use for this challenge. Since (in my house) Thanksgiving means Pumpkin Pie, I thought I would make one! And if you make a "paper" pie, it's much easier to clean up afterwards! :)
There were a lot of layers to this cut file and I wanted to use some thicker card stock, which is where Die Cuts with a View comes in. They have some of the thicker card stock, but yet it is still quite easy to use.
I used both sets of the Flag Dies to create the flag for my sentiment. And it's true…I really am thankful for pie. :)
I added some yummy little treats to the inside with some of the Thanksgiving Candies stamps.
Supplies:
DCWV Amber Autumn 12x12 paper stack
DCWV Pumpkin Patch 6x6 paper stack
SVG Cuts Fall Harvest
Jaded Blossom Let's Talk Turkey
Jaded Blossom Thanksgiving Candies
Jaded Blossom Flag Dies
Jaded Blossom Flag Dies 2
SVG Cuts Fall Harvest
Enamel Dots

And don't forget to stop by the Jaded Blossom blog for more inspiration and to link up your project for the challenge! We can't wait to see what you create!

You did it!!

Good morning! Today, I've got a special card to share with you! My sister entered and finished her very first Half Marathon (Utah Valley Marathon) this past Saturday! Way to go Brandi! You did it!!
For her card, I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Hats Off cutting files to modify the medal to look (somewhat) like the medal she got on Saturday. All I did was take the medal, change the size of it, enlarge the circle, and then weld the larger circle to the neck piece. I found the logo online, opened up the JPEG in Silhouette Studio and used the trace feature to create a compound path and cut the logo from the circle.
The shoes are from the Running Shoe freebie file from SVG Cuts.
The card base is the Ornate Card from SVG Cutting Files. I added a second base layer by using the offset feature in Silhouette Studio.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink black cardstock
Pebbles Seen & Noted 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Hats Off cutting files
SVG Cuts Running Shoe
SVG Cutting Files Ornate Card
Pink By Design Our Kids
Pink By Design I Workout
Utah Valley Marathon Logo
Liz's Paper Loft Boutique orange hemp twine

Have a fabulous day!!

My Creative Time :: Extra August Release Fun!

If you're looking for my BIG GIVEAWAY post, click HERE!

I've made quite a few projects this week, because I just couldn't stop playing with these stamps!

CAUTION: Picture Overload...be prepared to be inspired!

My first project was created with the stamp set Treats for my Sweet. Halloween is always a favorite time of year for many kids, and this stamp set is a must have!
For this card, I used the Coffin Card file over at My Scrap Chick. It's such a cute file and it goes perfect with this particular sentiment. Everything was cut out with Silhouette Studio and my Cameo. I found my own font (Seven Swordsmen) for the RIP. I used black and white PaperTrey Ink paper for the card base. The pattern paper is from The Paper Studio. I used some Candy Corn Crinkle ribbon and the perfect little purple hemp twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique

**********
Ready for my second project?!
This project was created with the Piles of Smiles stamp set. I LOVE fall! It's my favorite time of the year and these sentiments and images are the cutest!
This adorable file is found over at SVG Cuts and is part of the September Scenes Stand up cards. Isn't it just so cute?
I used some Bazzill cardstock for the base of the card and all of the pattern paper is from the Autumn Splendor 6x6 paper pack by We R Memory Keepers. I used the Peachy Keen Scarecrow Boy stamp for my little scarecrow face. :) I glued some raffia down for the hay bail and then tied some brown hemp twine around it. The hemp twine is again from Liz's PaperLoft Boutique. If you haven't visited her boutique lately...you really ought to! She has just unveiled a new site and has some new items. Of course, I LOVE the hemp twine! Oh and she has awesome customer service and super fast shipping!

**********
Okay...now I just HAD to make a project with this new die! It's called the 3x3 Fancy Trifold Card! And it even comes with an envelope! It's b-e-a-utiful!
I decided to add my little Trifold card to an A2 sized card. This gorgeous pattern paper is from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Union Square. The card base was made up of Black and Vintage Cream PaperTrey Ink cardstock. I used the My Creative Time Flower Petal Die for the flower and topped it off with a black button and some more hemp twine. The banner is from the Poloroid die from the Just Simply Live set, and the Surprise sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments.

**********
Emma has released some new Christmas stamp sets this time! I used the It's a Magical Season stamp set for this project.
For this project, I used some Kraft and Vintage Cream cardstock for the card base. The pattern paper is from the My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 paper stack. All of the other paper is Core'dinations. I found these Christmas trees in the Silhouette Library and cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo. The buttons and twine are also from PaperTrey Ink. For my sentiment I used one of the new Stampin' Up ink pads called Primrose Petals. I totally recommend the new ink pads and if I could, I would trade all mine in and take the new ones in a heartbeat!

**********
The next Christmas stamp set I am showcasing is called From Our Family to Yours. It has a ton of images on it, I absolutely love the little holly stamps. :)
I used some black and white PaperTrey Ink cardstock for the base of my card. The pattern paper is from the new Teresa Collins Christmas House 6x6 paper stack. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with this card, because I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous pattern paper. The Celebrate It ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, black hemp twine from Liz's PaperLoft Boutique, and a white button from my stash.

Okay...so don't forget to tune in tomorrow for the BIG release!!
