A couple Valentine projects!

Happy Monday! This morning I've got a couple of Valentine's to share. It's always so hard to make stuff for my kiddos, because they are getting older and well, there isn't much older "boy" stuff out there. :)

I was able to find something over at SVG Cuts that worked perfectly! 

These super cute little sports Valentine's can be found in the 24 Valentines SVG Kit. I created the cards in Make The Cut. (Yes, I finally caved and got a PC just for my Make The Cut.) It's just a little laptop and it runs Windows 8 which is driving me crazy! I was going to get the Microsoft Surface Pro, but for the price, I wanted more storage. Everything works perfectly and I get to use my most favorite SVG cutting program with my Silhouette Cameo. 

 I created the 4x4 square card base with rounded corners.

Today I'm sharing this super cute fall pumpkin card! Fall is my favorite season, and these pumpkins are just sooo cute! They are from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Pumpkin Patch cutting files, and the pattern paper (on the pumpkins) is from the Halloween Circles & Spots digital paper pack.

To create the tag for my sentiment, I used a technique that one of my fellow My Creative Time DT sisters, Ruthie used on her last Technique Tuesday. I used the My Creative Time Just Tag dies and just cut them down using my Cuttlebug to create a tag with the original My Creative Time signature stitching. :) Ruthie even has a video posted on how to do this!

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons DT :: Jeepers Creepers!

Hello there again! It's time for another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post! Today, I'm sharing a card I made using the Halloween Critters cutting files and the Halloween Bats & Swirls digital paper pack. :)

Isn't this spider just way too cute?! Both the spider and her web are from the same file. I created a shadow for the web in my Make the Cut program. Everything was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. The card is a standard A2 sized card.

This adorable file is over at SVG Cuts in the Bundle of Joy SVG kit. I LOVE SVG Cuts and they create so many fun 3-D items. I cut this one using Make The Cut and my Silhouette Cameo. And it was actually very easy to put together!

The My Creative Time Teeny Tag dies are the perfect size too! I had to add a couple buttons, hemp twine and some pearls to finish it off. :)

A couple new School projects!

Well...we made it through the first day of school! Both of my kiddos reported that they had a fabulous day. My oldest couldn't stop talking about how awesome his Math and Science classes are, and my 5th grader really likes his teacher and is super excited for tomorrow as well as the rest of the week. 

I made each of them a little card for yesterday and wanted to share those today! This first one was for my oldest, since he started junior high. :)

Jaded Blossom :: Happy Birthday!

Good morning!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I created for the grandson of one of my very best "cyber" friends. He is totally into the big purple and green dinosaur - Barney! I was never into Barney as a little kiddo, but the little girl that my mom babysat for was. So JenJen...does this bring back those good ole' memories?! 

I found this SVG file over at Cricut Critter Scrapping Heaven who offered it as a free download last year.

I used the Silhouette Studio to cut the ferns out in a couple different colors of Core'dination cardstock.
