PPPR Design Team post...and some baby cards!

Thank goodness it's Wednesday! Hey...once again I'm just glad it's not Monday! :)

There are a couple of 'welcome baby' cards that I need to make and after coming across this adorable little Jack-in-the-Box from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Santa's Helpers cut file, I decided to use it for both of them!

Happy Birthday with a cherry on top!

Good morning! Wow...two posts in two days! I'm on a roll!

Today I have one more birthday card to share. A card for my mom. :) I used some of the newer Jaded Blossom stamps and dies, and a freebie cut file from SVG Cutting Files. I love this yummy cupcake, and it is perfect with this sentiment!
I used the Silhouette software and a basic shape in my Silhouette Library to create the card base and layer, and to cut out my super cute little cupcake. :)

I added some glossy accents to make my cherry too!
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Vintage Cream and Dark Chocolate cardstock
Echo Park For the Record 2 (Tailored)
SVG Cutting Files Free Cupcake
Jaded Blossom Hey Cupcake stamp set
Jaded Blossom Flag Dies and Flag Dies 2

Happy Birthday Mom! I hope your day is fantastic!

Grinch Poop!

Good morning! I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday! Especially those of us who are spending time with our families. :) Today I thought I'd share some treats I made for my nephews using some Jaded Blossom stamps!

I saw Trixie over at Pink Glitter Studio use this adorable Grinch cutting file and just had to find it and use on these treats, because my sister says my nephews can be little stinkers! (They're always perfect when I'm around.) You can find Trixie's original post here
The Grinch file can be found at over at Creating in Carolina. And the cut file can be found here!
I used the offset feature to create a full shadow around the brim of my little santa hat. And I also didn't add the blue pieces of the eyes.
I used the Christmas Poop stamp set for the Grinch saying and stamped it onto the top layer of the Flag Dies. And of course, that perfect little Fancy Topper Die had to top off my little treat bag. :)
I also used the 3x5 clear bags and the Echo Park Season's Greetings 6x6 paper stack for my patterned paper.

Well, I hope the rest of your Sunday goes great! And if I'm not back before Tuesday, Merry Christmas!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons :: Let's get stuffed!

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow?! This year has just flown by for me. Before I know it, it'll be Christmas!

Today I'm sharing another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT post!
If you haven't already, you've got to check out all the super cute new cut files that Lisa has available! And don't forget the digi papers too!

For my project, I decided to use the Thanksgiving Feast cut files. With this latest release Lisa included a print and cut face if we wanted to use it. I have to say...using the print and cut face was PERFECT! Those little facial features can be a bugger if you have to cut them small enough for your image to go on a standard sized card. :)

So I used the print and cut feature to print the face and the body, so that the skin tones would match. I also decided to print and cut the turkey. :)
The background shape is a label shape from the Silhouette Online store. I created a shadow by using the offset feature. The corner pieces are from an old Stampin' Up punch.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Black, White, and Pure Poppy cardstock
Core'dinations
American Craft white textured cardstock (print and cut)
My Mind's Eye Lavender 6x6 paper stack
Echo Park Happy Days 6x6 paper stack
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Thanksgiving Feast cut files
My Creative Time Mixed Holiday Sentiments
iRock and black gems

It might be wise of you all to check out Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons this Friday too. ;) Just sayin'!

Oh and you also might want to take advantage of a sale going on over at My Creative Time this Friday!
I've also heard there will be a blog hop and prizes...and those prizes are guaranteed to be fabulous. My Creative Time stamps and sentiments go PERFECTLY with the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons cut files!

I hope you all have a fabulous day! And if you are traveling for the big day tomorrow, stay safe!

Jaded Blossom :: Autumn wishes!

Good morning! I have a super quick card to share with you this morning! No die-cutting machines, just a sweet little stamped image. :)
This pumpkin stamp is from the new Thanksgiving Wishes stamp set from Jaded Blossom. I stamped it onto some XPI Blending paper measured at 3" x 3" and colored it in with Copics. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I added some more layers using Core'dinations and PaperTrey Ink black cardstock.
The pattern paper is from the Echo Pack So Happy Together and Hello Summer 6x6 paper stacks.

That's it for today, I hope the rest of your Tuesday is fabulous!
And don't forget to head on over to My Creative Time for some new techniques!

So once we reach 550 blog followers and 300 Facebook fans, I'll give away those fabulous products! Don't forget to head on over and leave your comment and contact info on the original blog post HERE!

Happy Labor Day!
Are you lucky enough to have the day off? I'm not, I'll be working for a little bit, and then I'll spend the rest of the day crafting and trying to get my kiddos ready for the first day of school tomorrow!

It's time for a new segment over on the My Creative Time blog!
This will allow us to share some Project Life and Smashbook projects with all of you! Now, I haven't gotten on board with either of these fabulous products...yet, (I plan on purchasing some next time I'm in Utah). So for my project today, I just created a layout and modeled it after a page I had seen online in a Project Life album. :)
I cut all of my files out from the Silhouette Library with my Cameo. The clouds of course, are from the My Creative Time Fly Away with Me set. I created this layout with absolutely no picture in mind! Which is strange for me, because I usually find inspiration for layouts in the picture that I'm scrapping. So I left the center blank for when I do find that picture. But when I came across the images and sayings, I just had to use them. :)
I embossed the My Creative Time Script Type Backgounds stamp set onto the clouds with Clear embossing powder. It's kind of hard to see in the pic, but it really does look fabulous in person! ;)
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Black cardstock
Echo Park Hello Summer paper packs (6x6 and 12x12)
Echo Park Dots & Stripes Soda Fountain 6x6 paper pack
Misc. Bazzill cardstock
My Creative Time Cherish This Moment
My Creative Time Script Type Background
My Creative Time Fly Away with Me dies

If you're looking for my BIG GIVEAWAY post, click HERE!

Good morning!
Gosh it feels like I haven't posted in a while, yet it's only been the weekend! I just wanted to share a new card today using some fabulous Jaded Blossom and Peachy Keen stamps.

My youngest granddaughter just lost her two front teeth, so I had to make her this adorable little card!
I found this PERFECT SVG file over at Bear Hugs by Art and Scraps. It's called Tooth Fairy and you can find it here. :) I created the card base with a label in the Silhouette Studio. I just re-sized it to the size of an A-2 card, did some duplicating and welding...and voila! The additional layers are created by using the internal offset feature.
 Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink White, Black, and Berry Sorbet cardstock
Echo Park Everyday Eclectic 6x6 paper stack
My Mind's Eye Dwell 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations
Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folder

My Creative Time :: August Stamp Release Sneak Peek #3!

Good morning!

If you're looking for my BIG GIVEAWAY post, click HERE!

Well, here we are at day three of the My Creative Time sneaky peeks! We're sharing peeks from the one of the newest stamp sets called Just Simply Live AND a new die, which I'm sure you've already seen...or will be seeing a ton today! It has quickly become my favorite!
I decided to create an 8x8 layout for today's project. My family and I went to Hawaii in May of 2010 and these pictures worked perfectly with the new die and the sentiments on this stamp set!
I used some black and white PaperTrey Ink cardstock for my base layers. The background paper is from the Echo Park Paradise Beach 12x12 paper pack and 6x6 paper pad. I found the wave and palm tree silhouette in the Silhouette Store and cut them with my Cameo.
I added some black Recollection's Crafting tape to the layout and all of the stickers are from that same Echo Park collection. I also used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher on each of my pics.
I LOVE that this die has a banner with it! It's perfect for the die and and sentiments! (I used some Stampin' Up Pool Party and Daffodil Delight cardstock for the banners.) This stamp set also comes with a full alphabet. So you will be able to customize your projects too!
