MCT Designer's Challenge :: Tags!

Good morning! Are you all ready for another Designer's Challenge?! Today over at My Creative Time, Ruthie is hosting a TAG challenge.
All you have to do is create a larger 4 inch x 6 inch tag!
You can make it in any shape and use some of the larger sentiment stamps on it. Because ALL of Emma's stamps can be used on any project...and today, we're going to show you some fabulous tags!
I created this tag with a shape from the Silhouette Studio. I created an internal shadow to make my second layer and filled both layers with some digital papers from the Lettering Delights Chill Out paper pack. My banner is also another Silhouette Studio file, and I used a sentiment from the My Creative Time Card Sentiments stamp set.
This super adorable little holiday image is also from the Lettering Delights Chill Out graphic file. Isn't he just so cute? And yes, I know it's a *little* early for some Christmas type projects, but I couldn't resist this little guy! I imported the image into Silhouette studio, traced the image, created a shadow and then used the fabulous print and cut feature. Oh my gosh...I LOVE it! It's like the best print and cut feature I've ever used. :)
I added some doodles with a white gel pen and micro black pen. My little guy is also popped up on some foam pop dots. For the top of my tag, I used some 1 inch jute ribbon from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. I added a vintage button and finally some Mistletoe Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl Jam.
Don't forget to stop by My Creative Time to check out some new tags! Have a fabulous day!

A vintage Halloween greeting card!

Good morning! Sorry I've been MIA on my blog this week. It was a super busy week, and then I went out of town this weekend to visit my nephews. :) But...I'm back today with a "vintage" style Halloween card!
This is a standard A2 sized card cut from PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock. I also used some Black and Vintage Cream cardstock from PaperTrey Ink. The pattern paper is from the Authentique Enchanted Collection 6x6 paper stack.
The vintage image is from a digital collage sheet called Haunted Bingo Cards I found on Etsy through the Iralamija shop. I printed the images out on American Crafts white textured cardstock with my Epson Workforce printer. I distressed the edges with the Zutter Distrezz-it-all, and then matted it on some black cardstock which was also distressed.
This SUPER cute little bow is made from the 3 Girl Jam Mistletoe Crinkle Ribbon. I just created a double bow and then glue down the ends of the bows to make the additional loops. :) A black button and some hemp twine finished it off! It's kind of a non-traditional Halloween color, but it matches the hat in the image, and I think it came out perfect!

That's it for me today! But don't forget to head on over to My Creative Time to check out some new 3-D projects!
AND
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow and Friday for the My Creative Time 2-Day Halloween Blog Hop! There's sure to be some fabulous Halloween projects and a super "spooktacular" sale this weekend!
I'll also be in another Halloween Blog Hop with the rest of the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team on Saturday! There will be a fabulous giveaway from Lisa herself, and some more fabulous projects to inspire you to create your own Halloween projects!

Have a fabulous Wednesday!

My Creative Time :: Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning! Are you ready for another segment of Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time? Every other Monday, Emma challenges the design team to create layouts! Super fun (and super challenging since I am WAY behind on scrapbooks!) and it offers me so much inspiration to get working on some!
Well guess what? I finally got my hands on some Smash products! I didn't even realize that they are sold at my Wal-Mart, but now that I know it's there...watch out! :) I purchased a couple of books and a few of the accessories just to get me started.

For my very first Smash page, I wanted to include something that will get me going at full steam. So what better than my cameras! I mean without my camera, I wouldn't be able to scrap anything! So I took some pics of my favorite equipment that I use to capture my family memories.
I generally use my Nikon D700 or D7000 and a handful of different lenses.
A couple of my favorite lenses are my Nikkor 85mm f1.8D and Nikkor 50mm f1.4G. And of course my Nikkor Micro lens. :)
Another piece of equipment that we use quite often is our Sony HandyCam.
Supplies:
Smash Eco Style Binder
Smash Date Stamp
Smash Sticky Notes
Smash Clips
Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary 8x8 paper stack
Core'dinations
My Creative Time Just Simply Live
My Creative Time Camera Shy
My Creative Time Just Tags
My Creative Time Flower Petal Dies
Zutter Distress-it-all
Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon
Liz's PaperLoft Boutique hemp twine
Stampin' Up corner punch
Stampin' Up Notebook border punch
Misc buttons and brads
Glossy Accents
Copics

I hope you enjoyed my very first Smash layout! Stop my My Creative Time for some more layout inspiration!

3 Girl Jam and Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons have teamed up for this fabulous blog hop! We are using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons cut files, digital clip art, and digital paper packs and 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon!

And with that, here' is my project featuring these fabulous projects!
I made the base of the card with a shape in the Make The Cut library. I duplicated the shape, mirrored it and then welded the two sides together the create the base. The top layer was created with the internal shadow feature, and the rectangle is another shape from the library. I cut out all the shapes using my Silhouette Cameo.

This adorable octopus is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sea Life Cutting Files! Isn't just the cutest, ever?! I cut it out using Core'dinations cardstock.
The pattern paper comes from the My Mind's Eye Nostalgia 6x6 paper stack. The crinkle ribbon is of course from 3 Girl Jam and I used the Antique White and Aqua Splash colors to create a double looped bow. I finished it off with some hemp twine and a kraft button.

The tag was created using the My Creative Time Teeny Tag Greetings stamp and die set.

I've got three projects to show you, using all three new sets! I have to say, these are must have sets!

And the Just Tag dies aren't only for tags! You can certainly add them to a card too. For this super quick card, I just added some pattern paper and a stamp from the new Just For You stamp set onto the die. Super easy if you have a ton of Christmas cards to make. :)
