An update and a little re-organization of my craft studio!

Hi bloggers! Gosh, it sure seems like it's been a while.

My youngest kiddo began to have some medical problems in September. So far he's undergone 2 surgeries and is looking at one more sometime next year. I took some time off of crafting so I could take care of him. He's doing much better and is finally on the mend. He even gets to go back to school on Monday! :)

Prior to that, I had been busy reorganizing my craft studio and it's finally done! I was able to do a little de-stashing, but it seems like I still have a ton of scrap supplies. But now that it's all done, I hope to be up and crafting soon. In the mean time I figured I'd give you all a little peek into my craft studio (viewer beware: upcoming photo overload!!)

I finally made a trip to Ikea to stock up on some Kallax units for my studio. It's about a 3 1/2 hour trip, and I thought I'd never get them. But I was able to drag my hubby and our boys around for a little bit, as long as that was our only stop. I wasn't allowed to go to any scrapbook stores! For my desk, I used two of the 2x2 Kallax units for each end and then just put an Ikea table top on them.
I also have some of these Office Depot bookshelves in my studio. I've had then for nearly 8 years and they have held up wonderfully. The Ikea Alex drawer unit holds some sprays, mists, and a ton of little extra goodies!
The tall shelves hold my Project Life supplies, 6x6 paper stacks, and 8 1/2 x 11 card stock.
I use the long bookshelf for my stamp storage (well, my smaller stamp sets). I have accumulated a TON of stamps and have already filled  it up and am using the top of it!
I also have adapted the stamp storage that Jennifer McGuire uses! I absolutely love it! You can see her original blog post here. :) I am using a different style of Fridge Binz and the Avery Elle stamp storage pockets. The smaller stamp storage products are from Simon Says Stamp. I have not yet labeled all of my stamps (that will take forever!) so I have kept the inserts with them until I get that done. Here are some of my favorite stamps.

And of course some miscellaneous companies, such as My Favorite Things, Simon Says Stamp, Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, The Greeting Farm, and Pink By Design. The list goes on and on!
Most of my supplies now fit onto this Kallax unit. This is a 4 x 4 unit with a 1 x 4 unit stacked on top. I purchased some organization products from Stamp-n-Storage to fit in the cubes. These are the best organizational products I have found! They have a ton of products for ink pads, punches, paper, and even a fabulous desk! You can find all of their products here!
The 12 x 12 paper packs in the middle of the Kallax are stored in the new Cropper Hopper style vertical files. While all of my individual 12 x 12 paper fits into these Stamp-n-Storage Paper Holder for Ikea
Whew! Well, I think that's it!

Have a wonderful day!
