My Creative Time :: Scrappy Monday

Yay!! It's Monday! And it's the last day of April. These days continue to just fly by.
Today over at My Creative Time, Emma is starting a new segment called Scrappy Monday! This challenges us to create a layout only. And if any of you are like me, I'm seriously behind on my scrapbooking. So this is a fantastic challenge for me. AND Emma is hosting a link up party too! Don't forget to head on over to My Creative Time and link up your layouts!
For today's project, we are to follow a sketch.

As with any sketch, all you have to do is follow the main elements of the sketch. You are welcome to flip elements and use your creativity to create a project with your own individual style!

And with that...here is my interpretation!

 Supplies:
The Paper Studio Affinity cardstock and paper stack
PaperTrey Ink Vintage Cream cardstock
Bazzill kraft cardstock
Teresa Collins Canvas 8x8 paper stack
Imagine More Cricut cartridge (postage stamp background and pattern)
My Creative Time Cherish This Moment
My Creative Time Flower Petal Dies
Petaloo Floral Embellishments
Ranger Manilla Tag
Stampin' Up pearls
Tulle

We can't wait to see those layouts! Time to get scrapping!

Guest Designer Time!!

I am so honored to be guest designing for Liz over at Liz's Paper Loft while she is recovering from her surgery. I know she is getting anxious to get back into her craft room and start creating again. And we can't wait to see some new projects from her too! :) But until then, I hope you enjoy my project!
I saw this card on Pinterest, but I don't recall who created the original design, so I can't take credit for it. But once I saw it, I just had to make my own version, using those fabulous My Creative Time stamps!
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft and White cardstock
Stampin' Up Pool Party cardstock
Swiss Dots and Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folders

Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet. However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment! Not only is she reading them, she's counting them, because at the end of all this, she will have two announcements! The first will be a winner of some exciting BLOG CANDY! The second, it's a big one...and no, she's not coming out with stamps...you just have to wait and see!

Don't forget to head on over to her blog at Liz's Paper Loft and leave your comments too!

Wish you were here...

Can you believe it's already Monday again? These weeks are just flying by WAY to fast for me. I feel like by the time Sunday night rolls around, I haven't gotten anything accomplished!

Anywhoo...today, I am showcasing the Cricut Imagine Enjoy the Seasons cartridge. This cartridge has a ton of cute designs for all your favorite seasons. I love the Spring images, maybe because Spring is my favorite time of year!
In order to make the shadow layer of the background, I just used the same image (layers only) and increased it by .2 inches. My light blue background was cut at 5 inches and so the darker layer was cut at 5.2 inches. For some reason, my Imagine and Gypsy have quit playing nice together, so I've had to improvise.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft and Vintage Cream cardstock
Stampin' Up Early Espresso cardstock
Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folder
Stampin' Up Early Espresso brads
My Creative Time Happy Mail stamp set

And...I decided to make a second card for today. :)
