Grinch Poop!

Good morning! I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday! Especially those of us who are spending time with our families. :) Today I thought I'd share some treats I made for my nephews using some Jaded Blossom stamps!

I saw Trixie over at Pink Glitter Studio use this adorable Grinch cutting file and just had to find it and use on these treats, because my sister says my nephews can be little stinkers! (They're always perfect when I'm around.) You can find Trixie's original post here
The Grinch file can be found at over at Creating in Carolina. And the cut file can be found here!
I used the offset feature to create a full shadow around the brim of my little santa hat. And I also didn't add the blue pieces of the eyes.
I used the Christmas Poop stamp set for the Grinch saying and stamped it onto the top layer of the Flag Dies. And of course, that perfect little Fancy Topper Die had to top off my little treat bag. :)
I also used the 3x5 clear bags and the Echo Park Season's Greetings 6x6 paper stack for my patterned paper.

Well, I hope the rest of your Sunday goes great! And if I'm not back before Tuesday, Merry Christmas!

Wishing you a Merry, Merry Christmas!

Good morning! And it's time for another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post!

There's a little less than a week before Christmas! I know my kiddos are excited, but I just can't wait either! I love Christmastime because of what it means to the kids. :) So today, I'm sharing a quick card made with some digi papers and some cutting files.
I created the base of the card within Silhouette Studio.
The snowflake is from the Snowflake cutting files. And the banner is from the Sentiment Spots 1 cutting files. And this PERFECT Christmas paper? From the new Vintage Christmas digital paper set. This is my ALL-TIME favorite color palette!

Season's Greetings and a video tutorial!

Good morning! And happy Wednesday! :)
This morning I have another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post to share!
And I even have a video! :)
This super cute little elf is from the new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Santa's Helpers cut files! Isn't she just the cutest?! I created the card base within Silhouette Studio. I just modified a label into a standard A2 sized card. The top layer was created with the internal offset feature and then I filled it with a pattern from the Christmas Brights Peppermint & Gingham collection.
Then I sampled a couple different colors from the background paper and used those for the green elements of my cutting file. The snowflake and tag are both from my Silhouette library.
Supplies:
Misc cardstock
Core'dinations cardstock
Echo Park Happy Days 6x6 paper stack
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Christmas Brights Peppermint & Gingham paper pack

Happy Holidays

Can you believe it's December?! I can't! This year has just flown by, I've been super busy and I can't wait for it to end! :)

Since it's the 1st of December, the holiday is in full swing. There's only a few short weeks until Christmas (and my much needed vacation) and so I thought I'd share a holiday card this morning.
I tried my hand at triple stamping with a background stamp, and it really didn't work the way I wanted it to. I guess it's probably because I wanted to emboss the snowflakes on this gorgeous Market Street background stamp. :) So I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to try and get it to work. It didn't work as perfectly as I had hoped, but it just makes it more original. :)
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink White cardstock
Misc cardstock from my stash
Market Street Stamps Flurries
My Creative Time Curly Label die
My Creative TIme Stitched Curly Label die
My Creative Time All Around Christmas
Celebrate It White Ribbon
PaperTrey Ink Vintage Button
Liz's PaperLoft Boutique hemp twine
Stampin' Up Island Indigo ink pad
Stampin' Up White embossing powder

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Saturday!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons :: Let's get stuffed!

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow?! This year has just flown by for me. Before I know it, it'll be Christmas!

Today I'm sharing another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT post!
If you haven't already, you've got to check out all the super cute new cut files that Lisa has available! And don't forget the digi papers too!

For my project, I decided to use the Thanksgiving Feast cut files. With this latest release Lisa included a print and cut face if we wanted to use it. I have to say...using the print and cut face was PERFECT! Those little facial features can be a bugger if you have to cut them small enough for your image to go on a standard sized card. :)

So I used the print and cut feature to print the face and the body, so that the skin tones would match. I also decided to print and cut the turkey. :)
The background shape is a label shape from the Silhouette Online store. I created a shadow by using the offset feature. The corner pieces are from an old Stampin' Up punch.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Black, White, and Pure Poppy cardstock
Core'dinations
American Craft white textured cardstock (print and cut)
My Mind's Eye Lavender 6x6 paper stack
Echo Park Happy Days 6x6 paper stack
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Thanksgiving Feast cut files
My Creative Time Mixed Holiday Sentiments
iRock and black gems

It might be wise of you all to check out Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons this Friday too. ;) Just sayin'!

Oh and you also might want to take advantage of a sale going on over at My Creative Time this Friday!
I've also heard there will be a blog hop and prizes...and those prizes are guaranteed to be fabulous. My Creative Time stamps and sentiments go PERFECTLY with the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons cut files!

I hope you all have a fabulous day! And if you are traveling for the big day tomorrow, stay safe!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Today I've got a super quick post sharing some Halloween treats for my nephews!
This matchbox treat holder is the one that the ladies over at Jaded Blossom sent to their customers with a prior stamp release. My treat holders are holding some M-n-M's. :)
I used PaperTrey Ink black and vintage cream card stock for the holders and my pattern paper is from the Authentique Enchanted 6x6 paper pad. The super cute little pumpkin and spider are clip art files from Revi Devi Halloween Friends file over at www.mygrafico.com. I used the print and cut feature in Silhouette Studio to create them.
The stamps are from the My Creative Time Mixed Holiday Sentiments.

MCT Designer's Challenge :: Tags!

Good morning! Are you all ready for another Designer's Challenge?! Today over at My Creative Time, Ruthie is hosting a TAG challenge.
All you have to do is create a larger 4 inch x 6 inch tag!
You can make it in any shape and use some of the larger sentiment stamps on it. Because ALL of Emma's stamps can be used on any project...and today, we're going to show you some fabulous tags!
I created this tag with a shape from the Silhouette Studio. I created an internal shadow to make my second layer and filled both layers with some digital papers from the Lettering Delights Chill Out paper pack. My banner is also another Silhouette Studio file, and I used a sentiment from the My Creative Time Card Sentiments stamp set.
This super adorable little holiday image is also from the Lettering Delights Chill Out graphic file. Isn't he just so cute? And yes, I know it's a *little* early for some Christmas type projects, but I couldn't resist this little guy! I imported the image into Silhouette studio, traced the image, created a shadow and then used the fabulous print and cut feature. Oh my gosh...I LOVE it! It's like the best print and cut feature I've ever used. :)
I added some doodles with a white gel pen and micro black pen. My little guy is also popped up on some foam pop dots. For the top of my tag, I used some 1 inch jute ribbon from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. I added a vintage button and finally some Mistletoe Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl Jam.
Don't forget to stop by My Creative Time to check out some new tags! Have a fabulous day!
