Jaded Blossom Guest Designer :: Merry Christmas!!

Good Morning!!
Today I'm honored to be a guest designer for Jaded Blossom!

I want to give a special thanks to Candace and Michelle for such a fun opportunity!

Now...I know Christmas is over, but I just have to share this super cute little Christmas treat bag! Luckily for all of us crafters, all the Jaded Blossom stamps and dies go together perfectly!

I started with the Jaded Blossom Goody Bag Die and some PaperTrey Ink card stock to make sure my bag was nice and sturdy.
The little Polar Bear Ice Cap is from SVG Cutting Files. Isn't he just the cutest! I used one of the tags from the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 set for my sentiment. And the "Merry Christmas" comes from the Jaded Blossom Merry and Bright stamp set. I love how quick and simple using this die set is. And it's soo super cute, that you don't really have to add anything to it!

Gobble, Gobble :: Happy Thanksgiving and two challenges!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day surrounded by lots of family and full of good food!

I just want to share a quick little Thanksgiving project with you all, before I head out to spend the rest of the day with my family. :)
This little treat bag is from the SVG Cutting Files Deer Handled Bag file. I used Silhouette Studio software to create additional layers for each side of it.
The super cute little Thanksgiving Turkey is actually from the SVG Cutting Files Pilgrim Turkey file. I just modified it slightly to include extra feathers instead of the pilgrim hat.

My sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Turkey Poop stamp set and is stamped on a tag from the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2

Pretty Cute Stamps :: Gift Giving Challenge

Good morning! It's so nice to be back in my craft room, and just in time to get some Christmas projects done!

Today's card is one I am entering into the Pretty Cute Stamps Gift Giving Challenge
I created the card base in Silhouette Studio by welding some circles together. I used the offset feature to make the additional layers. This adorable little chickie is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Cute Chicks cut file.
But of course, it's almost December, so I had to make this little chickie into a Santa chick! The hat is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Santa Birdie. I just resized it to fit. The gifts are from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birthday Critters cut file.
I used the Pretty Cute Stamps Dear Santa stamp set for my sentiment. I stamped it with Versamark Ink and embossed it with White embossing powder. I trimmed it up and used the WeR Memory Keepers 1/8" corner rounder to round the corners. To finish of my Santa hat, I used some Liquid Applique on it and then added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to the card.

Thankful for you :: My Creative Time

Good morning! I've got a new My Creative Time project to share with you, and it's just in time for Thanksgiving!

For this super cute little thankful card, I used the My Creative Time Stitched Squares Inside & Out die set to create one of the background layers of the card. This one was roughly 4 1/2" and then I added 1/8" to each side to create the actual card base.
I used the My Create Time Stitched Starburst die set to create the middle layers. I cut them both out of the background layer so I could inset the additional layers.
This adorable little raccoon is from the My Creative Time Fall Friends stamp and die set. I masked off the stamps to create this little scene and colored it in with Copic markers. I used some WOW! Gold embossing powder to stamp the sentiment from the My Creative Time Belly Band Sentiments stamp set. And a few different colors of enamel dots finished it off!

Gobble 'Til You Wobble!!

Hey there crafters...guess who?! I'm back on my blog today with a new project!

And of course, since Thanksgiving is just a week away, I figured I'd start back up with a card featuring this adorable little turkey from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
I created the card base and oval layer from files in my Silhouette Library.
The turkey is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Turkey Lollipop Cut File. I just took off the base so I could only use the little turkey. :)
Both sentiments are from the Pretty Cute Stamps Turkey Time and I embossed both with WOW! Gold embossing powder.

I hope you're all having a wonderful day. I'm just here to share a quick card with you!

The sentiments are both from the Pretty Cute Stamps Easter Cuties stamp set. If you haven't been able to check out Lisa's newer stamp venture, Pretty Cute Stamps, you should definitely go do that. They are great!

Have a MONSTER SIZED Birthday!

Hi bloggers! I guess I'm on a roll, because I have another card to share! I created this card for the monthly challenge over at SVG Cutting Files.

The theme for the current challenge is birthdays, and I can never have enough birthday cards. :)
I started off with the Zig Zag Side Cut Card base, and sized it down to a standard A2 card. This adorable little birthday monster is from the Monster Bash set.
I used some Peachy Keen Stamps for his eyes. (These stamps are no longer available since Peachy Keen Stamps ceased manufacturing.) The sentiment is from a stamp set by Jaded Blossom called Monster Mash. And finally I added some Confetti from (one of my new favorite places) Pretty Pink Posh!
Supplies:

Happy Birthday with a cherry on top!

Good morning! Today, I just want to share a quick card I made for the current Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons challenge.

You can find all the details about the challenge HERE. The theme for this month is to create any cooking or food-themed project. So...I went with a cupcake!
I used the Stitched Shapes cut files to create the layer for my background. The card is a 5x5 inch square card.

To make my cupcake, I combined several Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon cut files. The cupcake is from the Valentine Sweets set. But since I didn't really want the hearts on top, I used the cherry from the Waffle Cone Set. And finally, what's a cupcake without some sprinkles? So I grabbed them from the Sprinkled Cake Cone set. :)

To finish it off, I added a Jaded Blossom sentiment and some sequins!

Have a Hoppy Day!

Hi bloggers! Today I'm sharing a challenge project! I created this sweet little bunny treat to enter in the challenges over at SVG Cutting Files and Jaded Blossom. :)
I used a couple of different files to create my project. The base is from the Kawaii Sea Nugget Platform. The cute little bunny is from the Easter Peek Out Slider Set. I just modified the size of the grass and bunny in order for them to fit onto the nugget base.
The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Easter Treats 2 stamp set.

Sending lots of love!

I'm back today to share one last card for the month. I originally made this card to share prior to Valentine's Day...but it never actually got posted!

No worries though, I can always share it now!
I wanted to make a Valentine's card that used non-traditional colors rather than the whole white, pink, and red that we are accustomed to. I created the base of the card with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle die. After die-cutting it, I just adhered it to a standard A2 sized card base.
The other die-cuts and stamp are all Simon Says Stamp exclusives.
Supplies:
Bazzill Marshmallow white cardstock
Echo Park Here and Now 6x6 paper stack
Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Die
Simon Says Stamp Surely Stitched Heart Die
Simon Says Stamp Sending Happy Thoughts
Pretty Pink Posh Silver Heart Confetti

For My Favorite Gamer!

Good morning! Once again, it seems like it's been forever since I posted last! But I'm here today sharing a super special birthday card.

My oldest kiddo turns 15 today!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAMIEN!
Damien is a die-hard gamer and upcoming YouTuber. :) So when I saw the Level up stamp set and Game Controller die over at My Favorite Things, I had to have it just for this card! I created the base with some of the rectangles from the Simon Says Stamps new In Stitches die collection.
I die-cut several of the controllers out in order to give the die a little bit of dimension. I added some black hemp twine for the cord (even though he has wireless controllers, oops!) and then some glossy accents onto the colored buttons. It's a simple, clean cut layout for a birthday card, but I think it turned out great!
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink white cardstock
Echo park All About a Boy 6x6 paper stack
Bazzill cardstock
My Favorite Things Level Up stamp set
My Favorite Things Die-namics Game Controller die
Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies
hemp twine
glossy accents

Happy Birthday!

Good morning!

January is full of birthdays and I have yet another birthday card to share today!
This adorable clown is from the Cute Little Circus file by Too Cute by Jessica. I decided to hide the face cuts so I could stamp one of these super cute little Peachy Keen Stamps faces on it instead. Then I used Copic markers to color it in. This has got to be one of the cutest little clowns ever! :)

Another Happy Birthday!!

Good morning! Who's up for another birthday card?! Today is my mom's birthday!

Happy Birthday Mom!
I hope your day is wonderful!
For the birthday card today, I wanted to add a little dimension with a simple frame. I created a 4.25 x 4.25 square card within Silhouette Studio and used the Peachy Keen SVG outline for the size of the chef in order to know how big to make the frame.
I cut the frame out 4 times (3 times out of plain white card stock and once out of a white patterned card stock) and just glued them together. Easy Peasy!

The chef is from the January 2014 Stamp of the Month. I stamped both him and the cupcake on X-press It Blending Paper and colored in his face with Copic Markers. I wanted to paper piece the rest of the outfit and the cupcake. So I picked out some misc card stock and added some shadows with more Copic Markers. I added a birthday sentiment from Jaded Blossom's So Many Birthdays stamp set and my little heart on top is covered with some glossy accents!
Supplies:
Neenah Solar White card stock
