Some of my favorite people...

Good morning! I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the week so far!

I thought I'd make a special card for the friends that live inside my computer!
I created the card base in Silhouette Studio. The adorable little computer is from the Lettering Delights Programmed for Love cut set. I actually combined a couple of files from the set, because I liked this computer better but wanted to add the cord to it. :)
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink  Smokey Shadow cardstock
My Mind's Eye Quilting Bee 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations
Silhouette Studio Library (card base)

Have a FABULOUS birthday!

Chirp...chirp...chirp!

What's that?! That's the sound of my Cricut chirping! Yes, it's been a while, but I turned on the old Cricut and used it for a very special birthday card for a very special nephew!

Nathan, my sister's oldest son turns 7 today! And I hope he has a FABULOUS birthday!
This is a 5x7 inch card and I cut the SpongeBob Squarepants out at 6 inches. Even at that size, the little pieces on his socks didn't cut, but I think I kinda worked around it and that it still looks pretty good. :)
Supplies:
PaperTrey ink Black and white cardstock
DCWV Tahiti Beach 12x12 paper stack
Core'dinations cardstock

Today I thought I'd share a super quick card.
I used a shape in my Silhouette Studio library to create the base for this 5x5 inch card. The background layer is a simple rectangle shape.
The anchor is also from the Silhouette store. I created the rope with some of the Maraschino Twine from The Twinery.

My Scrap Space :)

Good morning! Today, I'm sharing my scrap space with you! It's taken me a while to get everything organized and cleaned up, but it's finally done!
In the background this long bookshelf shelf holds some of my 12x12 patterned paper in the Cropper Hopper vertical storage containers. My Epson printer and Cricut Imagine sit on top of it. If I need to use my Imagine, I just usually move it over to my table, but to be honest, I haven't used it in...well, let's just say a VERY long time.
I've used our old kitchen table for my desk. To add some additional storage to my room, I used a Martha Stewart cube storage shelf on the one end. It holds most of my 6x6 paper stacks as well as some miscellaneous crafty items. :)
My work space. :) My Cameo sits on my desk because it's my go-to machine. I just can't say enough good things about it. I recommend it over every other cutting machine. And I have tried them all!
I purchased these two bookshelves, (they match the longer bookshelf above) from Office Depot a long time ago. I don't even remember the name of the furniture collection. But they are very sturdy and great quality shelves. They hold all of my Cricut cartridges, as well as my Cricut Expression and E2, and my Black Cat Cougar die-cutting machine. These tall shelves are the cube storage from Michael's. They hold my 12x12 paper stacks and miscellaneous 12x12 items. The covers on my machines were made by Kathy over at Kathy's Cozies
I found some instructions for building this ribbon shelf online a while back. But forgive me now, because I can't remember where! And I didn't even bookmark it. :( My hubby made it for me and I'm using it to store some ribbon and some Hero Arts ink pads. Oh and some washi tape. :) You can also see some of my Copic collection.
I use a peg board to store my punches and twine. All we did was add some curtain rods for the punches and some pegs from Walmart to hold the twine.
I purchased these Martha Stewart cube shelves from Home Depot and filled up this whole wall. The cubbies are filled with all sorts of different crafty things. The bottom right shelf holds all of my stamps...and they are pretty much full. Yes...I have a problem. :) These also hold my PaperTrey Ink paper, all my envelopes and adhesives, I'm sure you get the picture. On top of these are my Zutter Cutter, a Xyron sticker machine, my Big Shot and my Cinch. Again, those cool little covers are from Kathy's Cozies.
And finally this little Ikea Raskog cart holds most of my Project Life items.

Thanks for checking out my space! :)

PPPR DT Post :: Heard you needed a lift!

It's Wednesday, and that means it's time once again for a Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post!
And in case you missed the announcement, we've added three more ladies to the DT and a ton of inspiration for everyone!

Don't forget to stop by their blogs and give them some bloggy love!

And now...on to my project! Today, I used several different PPPR files to make this super cute card!
The card base is from the Layered Labels 1 cutting files. I just flipped, welded and used the offset feature to create the base and layers. The rounded corner square is a simple shape created within Silhouette Studio.
This adorable little girl is from the Valentine Kids cutting files set. I kinda switched up her hair and used the hair from the other little girl in the set. Instead of having her hold the balloon, I changed it to add the kite from the Kite & Cloud cutting file. I also added some twine onto the tail of the kite.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Vintage Cream cardstock
My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine 6x6 paper stack
Carta Bella Cool Summer 6x6 paper stack
Echo Park All About a Boy 6x6 paper stack

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Kite & Clouds cutting files

Stand under my umbrella.

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Today I'm joining in on the Spring Things challenge over at SVG Cutting Files!
You can read all about the challenge here, and there's still time to get your project in!

For this challenge we are asked to make a project that contains an SVG Cutting File and anything to do with spring! Since April tends to bring a lot of rain showers, I used this super cute little girl from the Let It Rain file! Isn't she perfect?!
I used Silhouette Studio to hide her facial features so I could use a Peachy Keen Stamp.
