Exciting news!!

Save the date...well...save the MONTH!
I have some exciting news to share with you this morning!! I've accepted a guest designer position with Jaded Blossom for the month of October. And I LOVE me some Jaded Blossom stamps!

I can't wait to join the fabulous design team for the month!

So while I was waiting to share the news, I decided to break out some of the newer Jaded Blossom stamp sets, and those older, but still fabulous Flag Dies and create a project for my craft desk. :)
This is just a 6x6 little calendar that I made to sit on my craft table. I mounted it onto chipboard to add a little strength to it. I used some Pop Dots for dimension, inked the edges of everything and added some buttons and enamel dots as well. :)

PPPR DT :: Hey Man!

Guess what? It's time for me to share another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post! And today, I get to share my hubby's birthday card, since it's his birthday! Happy Birthday Shawn! I just know he'll have a fabulous day. ;)
I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Tool Time cutting files to create this super fun card.
 The card base was created with the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Layered Labels 1 files. I modified the file to create an A2 sized card. I also edited the points at the top of the shape to create the flat top, which made my card easy to score.
 I decided that I only wanted the face to be on my tool box, so I deleted the face from the hammer and level. For the wrench, I used the PNG file and then traced it to create the cut lines.
These pattern papers are from the Pretty paper, Pretty Ribbons Man, Oh Man digital paper collection. I printed them on my Epson Workforce printer.
 And...the inside. :)

You did it!!

Good morning! Today, I've got a special card to share with you! My sister entered and finished her very first Half Marathon (Utah Valley Marathon) this past Saturday! Way to go Brandi! You did it!!
 For her card, I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Hats Off cutting files to modify the medal to look (somewhat) like the medal she got on Saturday. All I did was take the medal, change the size of it, enlarge the circle, and then weld the larger circle to the neck piece. I found the logo online, opened up the JPEG in Silhouette Studio and used the trace feature to create a compound path and cut the logo from the circle.
 The shoes are from the Running Shoe freebie file from SVG Cuts.
 The card base is the Ornate Card from SVG Cutting Files. I added a second base layer by using the offset feature in Silhouette Studio.

PPPR DT :: A Father's Day card!

Wednesday always brings along a new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post!
Since Father's Day is quickly approaching, I decided to create a Father's Day card! I used the Layered Labels 1 cutting file to create the background layer. To add the sentiment, I just added the words (Badaboom BB font) and created a compound path to cut it out from the actual layer. This #1 badge comes from the Hats Off cutting files. (I did the same thing with the #1.)
And I decided to use this same format to create a second Father's Day Card!
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock
Stampin' Up Early Espresso cardstock
Echo Park Note to Self 6x6 paper stack
Authentique Seasons: Summer Bundle 6x6 paper stack
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Layered Labels 1 cutting files
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Hats Off cutting files
Badaboom BB font
