PPPR DT :: You make me happy

Yay for Wednesdays! Okay, well not really, but it's time for me to share a Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post with you!
For my project today, I used the Rain or Shine cut files to create this adorable little card! Isn't that little sun the cutest?!
The card base was created in Silhouette Studio with a background shape. I decided to make the clouds gray to go with my sentiment. I created the shadow by just cutting the clouds from two different colors of gray Core'dinations paper.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock
My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Rain or Shine cut files
Glossy Accents

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! And wow, I can't believe just how quickly this holiday got here. It seems like my kiddos just barely got out of school for the summer. ;)

Today I'm sharing a card created with an SVG file over at Scrapping Bug Designs. This little cutie is in the USA file. And of course, I had to add a little peachy face to him. I wanted him holding a fire cracker instead of the flag in the file, but that's easy enough to do. I love how SVG collections can be so easily customized!
I created the base for my card using a shape in my Silhouette Library, and the additional layers by using the offset feature.
My sentiment is from the new Jaded Blossom Celebrate America stamp set.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock
The Paper Studio Vintage Nation 12x12 paper stack
Scrapping Bug Designs USA SVG file
Jaded Blossom Celebrate America
Jaded Blossom Candy Charms & Banners
Peachy Keen Stamps Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment
Liz's PaperLoft hemp twine

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

PPPR DT :: Celebrate America

Good morning bloggers! Today is another design team share for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons! And boy are you in for a surprise...we've got some fabulous projects to share!
Today I'm sharing a card using some of the new patriotic cutting files!
My favorite WAS the Grand Old Flag set, but then Lisa came out with the Fourth of July Kids!
Aren't these both just adorable?!

I went with the Grand Old Flag cut files for my project today. :) And just look how PERFECTLY the Cameo cut this out!
My card base was created with a shape in my Silhouette Library. It's a standard A2 sized card. I edited the points on the shape to create the flat top and bottom for my card.
For the sentiment, I used the Celebrate America stamp set from Jaded Blossom.
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Vintage Cream cardstock
Authentique 6x6 Bundle: Glory
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Grand Old Flag
Jaded Blossom Celebrate America

Don't forget to stop by Lisa's blog and check out the projects from the rest of the fabulous design team! And have a wonderful Wednesday!
