My Creative Time November Release Sneak Peek #2

Welcome to DAY 2 of Sneaky Peeks for My Creative Time! I am SO excited for this release!

My oldest son is in Kenpo Karate with the BEST karate instructor EVER! In May he participated in the Karate Championship and took 2nd place in Creative Forms. He was an Orange Belt at that time, but has since earned his Purple Belt! I don't have a picture of him because the instructor decided to test him the day that my husband took him, so I didn't even know about it until he came home! His goal is to be a black belt by the time he graduates High School. He's got 6 years to go!

SO...I was SUPER excited to be able to do the sneak peek for one of Emma's new releases called "Black Belt!"

For my background, I decided to incorporate the different colored belts that you can earn in Kenpo Karate. I used my Janome sewing machine to add the stitching to them, and LOVE the way it turned out!

I just can't STOP making these little banners!! :)

I used the Sports Mania Cricut Cartridge for the Discipline title cut. I cut out the symbol it had cut and stamped it with another stamp in this set. It worked perfectly!

Supplies:

PaperTrey Ink White cardstock and misc colored cardstock

My Creative Time stamps and dies:
"Anyday Bingo And Crossword" stamp set
Build A Banner Kit
"Black Belt" stamp set

Stampin' Up Corner Ticket punch
Janome and misc thread
Offray Black Ribbon

"3-D Wednesday" over at My Creative Time!!

Hello! Welcome to my very first project for 3-D Wednesday for My Creative Time!! Today's project was to create a treat holder or other 3-D item. So I set out on finding a treat holder that I thought hadn't been created by too many crafty people out there. :) And the one I found was on the Life's A Party Cricut Cartridge!

I cut the box at 11 1/2 inches in width, with my Gypsy and E2. The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Twinkle Twinkle Little Boy and Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl paper stacks. I used PaperTrey Ink for all the solid cardstock.

I used the Scallop and Stitched Circle dies for the tag and stamped it with a stamp from "All Around Birthday Time" and some cute little footprints from the "All Star Baby" stamp set. You can view the stamps and dies HERE. I wrapped up the treat holder with some tulle and ribbon from PaperTrey Ink, and added some PaperTrey Ink vintage buttons around the top of the holder.

I didn't like the letter layer that they had on the cartridge, so I decided to use my Gypsy and create my own! I used the Lacy Labels cartridge for the frame and Don Juan for the font. I connected them with a rectangle from George and Basic Shapes and welded them together for the final piece! The frame size was just under 2 1/4 inches.

I hope you enjoyed my treat holders! Don't forget to head over toMy Creative Time for some more fabulous projects from this awesome design team!

My Creative Time's "Fun Borders" stamp set!

I finally made it down to the "Cricut Corner" to play today. In between homework for four courses, two additional classes this weekend, housework, laundry and working on my very first DT project - I didn't think I'd have time to make anything else. But I managed to get EVERYTHING done! Including the laundry which was the last thing on my list...and two more projects!

And what is a project without some My Creative Time stamps? For these cards I used the My Creative Time's "Fun Borders" stamps sets. They fit perfectly into the cards I needed to make. You can view them HERE along with all of Emma's other fabulous stamps.

I had to make a super quick birthday card, because I had somehow forgotten about my brother-in-law's birthday. Oops!)

Supplies:

Stampin' Up Not Quite Navy cardstock and Ink
PaperTrey Ink Spring Moss and Vintage Cream cardstock
My Mind's Eye Complete Boy paper stack
My Creative Time "Fun Borders" stamp set
Spellbinders Nestabilities
PaperTrey Ink Twine
Misc eyelets

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We also had some family pictures done with a fabulous photographer and new friend. So I figured I'd send her a quick thank you card to let her know just how much we loved the pics.
I am really liking the Art Philosophy cartridge now that I have learned how to make the flowers look fantastic too. :)
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Pure Poppy, Fine Linen, Vintage Cream cardstock
My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Market Street
My Creative Time "Fun Borders" stamp set
Art Philosophy cartridge (flowers cut at 3 3/4" and 3")
PaperTrey Pure Poppy Ink
Martha Stewart Course Glitter
Enjoy!
I'm a MY CREATIVE TIME Design Team Member!!
I am so honored and excited to reveal that I am now a member of Emma's design team over at
I've been ready to burst at the seams to announce this, and I absolutely cannot wait to start working together with Emma and all the other members of the design team. This is going to be a fabulous
term and I am ready to get started!
First things first:
I'm Jeanne. I live in Wyoming with my wonderful husband and two rowdy boys ages 11 and 9. I've been scrapbooking for about 13 years now. I purchased my first Cricut when Provo Craft introduced them, and I haven't looked back. I am continually adding to my Cricut collection. :) I started a blog about 10 months ago when I started creating cards. A little bit thereafter, I was introduced to stamping and instantly became addicted to My Creative Time and Peachy Keen stamps, just to name a few. I work full time for a local oil field company to support my NEED of stamps, dies, paper and Cricut cartridges. I also attend college full time and will be graduating in May with another A.A.S, this time in medical Office Assisting.
So without further adieu...here is my VERY first DT post using
these fabulous My Creative Stamps!
Supplies:
My Creative Time Sets
Build a Banner stamp and die set
Anyday Bingo and Crossword stamp set
All Around Accessories stamp set
Mixed Holiday Sentiments
XL Label die
XL Label borders
PaperTrey Ink Kraft and Vintage Cream cardstock
My Mind's Eye O' Christmas Tree paper stack
misc cardstock
PaperTrey Ink Twine
PaperTrey Ink Vintage Buttons
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink
