PPPR DT :: Stay Cool!

Welcome to another edition of our Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team share!
I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Cool Sun cutting file to make this super cute project! Because while everyone else is now settling into their school routine, we have this last week of summer before school starts here, and boy, are we taking advantage of it!
I created the base of the card by welding a circle and a rounded square together in my Silhouette Studio. The card is a little smaller than the common A2 sized card, but will still fit perfectly in the envelope.
I used some more of the PaperTrey Ink clear cardstock on this project for my "cool" sunglasses. :) And these little "skittles" are some I found on Facebook. If I can research the link, I'll update my post, but I can't believe I didn't save the info! Sorry!

PaperTrey Ink Clear cardstock

PPPR: Back to School Blog Hop!

Good morning and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Back to School Blog Hop!

If you've just hopped over from Candace's blog, then you're hopping in the right direction. If you've just stumbled across my blog this morning, head on over to Lisa's blog to start at the beginning!
Today we are focusing on back to school! My kiddos don't actually start school until September 3rd, but I'm sure most of you and your kiddos are now settling into the routine. I decided to create a card for my blog hop project today! I used the school bus from the Back 2 School cutting files.
I created the base of my card using a ticket shape from the Silhouette Online Store. It's kind of like a "ticket to ride" for the first day! :)
I also used some clear cardstock to make the windows look a little more realistic! The PaperTrey Ink Clear cardstock cuts perfectly in the cameo. :)
Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock
PaperTrey Ink Clear cardstock
Echo Park Paper & Glue 6x6 paper stack
