Jaded Blossom :: Thank you!

Good morning! I hope everyone is recovering from the Holidays rather quickly. Pretty soon, it will be 2014 and the start of a brand new year!

First off, lets get some sad news out of the way. This will be my last post as a design team member for Jaded Blossom. I've really enjoyed working with Candace and Michelle, as well as the rest of the design team, but I need to step down and focus on some other things right now. I have to send out a huge thank you to both ladies for allowing me the opportunity to design for Jaded Blossom, I have had a blast and will surely miss everyone!

Now, don't worry, I'll still be crafting and blogging from time to time, so I'll definitely still be around!

Today, I'm sharing a quick Christmas "thank you" idea! As though we haven't made enough handmade items for our friends and family this past Christmas season. :) Now it's time to say thank you for all the things that we have received...and what better way to do that, than a little handmade Christmas treat!
This little favor box is a file from Lori Whitlock that I found over in the Silhouette Online Store, design #37557.
I cut the file out of PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock and added some extra layers to the front, sides, and back for my patterned paper.
I used the Jaded Blossom Candy Charms & Banners Dies and Mini Tag Dies to create the base for my sentiment. The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Simple Sayings 3 stamp set. The little snowflake embellishments came from a Studio Calico PL kit that I had subscribed to.
For my treats, I used the Jaded Blossom Winter Candies and some yummy Christmas Hershey Kisses.

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!! I am so thankful to be spending the day with my hubby and our two boys. It looks to be a great day!

I just want to share a Christmas card, before I get the day going.
I wanted to make something really quick and easy, so that I could finish getting everything for Christmas done. So for this project, I only used some stamps and my paper trimmer. :)
The image and sentiment is from the Mama Elephant Cozy Christmas stamp set. I stamped it onto my white card stock and colored it in with Copics. I added a little gift in Santa's hands from the same stamp set. For the trim on his Santa suit, I added some glitter from a Wink of Stella glitter pen.
 Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Black cardstock
Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock
Echo Park 'Tis the Season 6x6 paper stack
Mama Elephant Cozy Christmas
Copics

Hemp Twine
Enamel Dots

I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas!

There's snowman like you!!

It's Christmas Eve!!

I've got a quick card to share this morning for all my blogger friends out there! Just a quick little Christmas Eve card letting you know that, "There's snowman like you!"
Frosty the Snowman is, by far, my most favorite Christmas character! Every year we watch the original Frosty special on TV and every year, it's just as wonderful.
I had a friend convert this image over to an SVG so I could cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. :) Isn't it perfect?! For the card base, I used the Ornate Fold Over Card Base from SVG Cutting Files.
My sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Winter Wishes stamp set and of course, I had to add some enamel dots. :)
 Supplies:
PaperTrey Ink Black cardstock
Stampin' Up Whisper White cardstock
Doodlebug Designs Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Gift Giving Blog Hop!!

Good morning! And Welcome to our Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Gift Giving Blog Hop!
If you've just come from Lisa's blog then you're hopping in the right direction! If you stumbled across my blog this morning, head on over to Lisa's blog to start at the beginning. For today's hop, we are making any type of gift-giving project using those fabulous Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files!

I decided to go with a Christmas themed gift!
I used the Patriotic Popcorn Box cut file to create this super cute little Christmas popcorn box. I removed the stars form the top layer and created an offset layer instead. I added some Poppycock popcorn to it, wrapped it up with some cellophane and tied it with some different colored hemp twine.
This little Santa is from the newer North Pole Express cut file available here. The tag was created from the Layered Tags 1 cut file. I modified it to fit my sentiment.
Isn't this little guy adorable?!
Supplies:
Stampin' Up card stock:
Season of Styles patterned paper
Cherry Cobbler
Simple Chartreuse
Whisper White
