Be as BRIGHT as you can be!

Good morning!

If you're looking my BIG GIVEAWAY post, click HERE! If we can get my blog followers to 550 and my Facebook fans to 300, I'll be giving away some fabulous prizes from the following companies:
So let's start spreading the word!!

For today's project, I thought I'd stray from the back to school stuff you've been seeing!

I received my Pink By Design August Stamp of the Month ILLUMINATE set in the mail the other day and I just LOVE the sentiments on it! If you haven't signed up for the SOTM club yet, well...what are you waiting for?! :)

My project for today is a just a simple 4x4 card with a print and cut with my cameo! I LOVE using the print and cut feature because it allows you to make really quick projects when you don't have much time at all.
I found this lightbulb on the Lettering Delights Moody-licious graphic set. :) It was perfect for this particular stamp set!
All you have to do is open the image (PNG file) in Silhouette Studio. You can resize it, but it's best to make them somewhat smaller due to the resolution. Then simply trace the image. Once you're done tracing the image, you can then print and then cut it out perfectly! But like in my case, I wanted just a little bit of a shadow on the image. So once I have the trace line, I just select it and use the offset feature to create the shadow. Just make sure that your original trace line is either deleted (after using the offset feature) or set to no cut before you start cutting. I know it would be a lot easier to offer a video tutorial...but I've never done a video before! I think it will be something to try, I just have to get up the courage to do so!
