Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons DT :: Jeepers Creepers!

Hello there again! It's time for another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team post! Today, I'm sharing a card I made using the Halloween Critters cutting files and the Halloween Bats & Swirls digital paper pack. :)

Isn't this spider just way too cute?! Both the spider and her web are from the same file. I created a shadow for the web in my Make the Cut program. Everything was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. The card is a standard A2 sized card.

Jaded Blossom :: Autumn wishes!

Good morning! I have a super quick card to share with you this morning! No die-cutting machines, just a sweet little stamped image. :)

This pumpkin stamp is from the new Thanksgiving Wishes stamp set from Jaded Blossom. I stamped it onto some XPI Blending paper measured at 3" x 3" and colored it in with Copics. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I added some more layers using Core'dinations and PaperTrey Ink black cardstock. 

The pattern paper is from the Echo Pack So Happy Together and Hello Summer 6x6 paper stacks.

My Creative Time :: Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning! Are you ready for another segment of Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time? Every other Monday, Emma challenges the design team to create layouts! Super fun (and super challenging since I am WAY behind on scrapbooks!) and it offers me so much inspiration to get working on some!

Well guess what? I finally got my hands on some Smash products! I didn't even realize that they are sold at my Wal-Mart, but now that I know it's there...watch out! :) I purchased a couple of books and a few of the accessories just to get me started. 

For my very first Smash page, I wanted to include something that will get me going at full steam. So what better than my cameras! I mean without my camera, I wouldn't be able to scrap anything! So I took some pics of my favorite equipment that I use to capture my family memories. 

I generally use my Nikon D700 or D7000 and a handful of different lenses.

A couple of my favorite lenses are my Nikkor 85mm f1.8D and Nikkor 50mm f1.4G. And of course my Nikkor Micro lens. :)

Another piece of equipment that we use quite often is our Sony HandyCam.

Yay! It's Thursday! And that mean two things..it's my birthday :) AND I get to announce some winners on my blog! But first, I have a super cute little card to share with you today!

I used the new Teddy Bear Parade cartridge to create this super cute little birthday bear! The party hat is from a different bear outfit, because I didn't really like the hat that was with the clown. :) I also tried to hide the face on my bear by using my Gypsy, since the new carts were finally added. However, with the new update, my Gypsy is no longer connecting to my E2. Which happened last time they had an update. :( So I finished it off by just creating the base layer in my bear color and stamping a little "peachy" face on it instead. The eyes are from the XL Critter Face Assortment, and the mouth from the Rag Doll and Teddy Bear Face Assortment. It looks MUCH better this way, because to tell you the truth the eyes (and ears) on this cartridge just cut out all funky and uneven!

I created a standard A2 sized card with PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock. The chevron pattern paper is from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh 6x6 paper stack and the circles, from the mambi sheets CHAMPS 12x12 paper stack. I used Core'dinations and Bazzill cardstock for all the layers on my clown. The sentiment is from the new Beary Special Thoughts stamp set from My Creative Time! Isn't is just perfect for all those "beary" special projects?!

I also used some hemp twine from Liz's PaperLoft Boutique on the card. :)

And with that, here' is my project featuring these fabulous projects!

I made the base of the card with a shape in the Make The Cut library. I duplicated the shape, mirrored it and then welded the two sides together the create the base. The top layer was created with the internal shadow feature, and the rectangle is another shape from the library. I cut out all the shapes using my Silhouette Cameo.

This adorable octopus is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sea Life Cutting Files! Isn't just the cutest, ever?! I cut it out using Core'dinations cardstock.

The pattern paper comes from the My Mind's Eye Nostalgia 6x6 paper stack. The crinkle ribbon is of course from 3 Girl Jam and I used the Antique White and Aqua Splash colors to create a double looped bow. I finished it off with some hemp twine and a kraft button. 

The tag was created using the My Creative Time Teeny Tag Greetings stamp and die set.
